Located in the historic area of the city, this section of the Museum of Lisbon aims to disclose what was one of the most important monuments of Olisipo. The museum is located inside two buildings from different historical periods, one from the 18th century and the other from the end of the 19th century, an example of industrial architecture where a typography and a handbag factory used to be based. This building was restored and adapted to host the Museum of the Roman Theatre, inaugurated at the end of 2001. The Museum of Lisbon - Roman Theatre includes a long-term exhibition area and an archaeological site.
OPENING HOURS:
Tuesday to Sunday, from 10.00h to 18.00h.
Closed on Monday and on May 1st, 24th, 25th and 31st December and January 1st.
